Roofeco tiles, among the 5 best recycling practices in Europe in 2017

Roofeco System SL, the manufacturer of Roofeco Tiles and affiliated with CEEI Castellón, has been selected among the five best recycling practices in Europe. This was the decision of the European Association of Plastics Recycling and Recovery Organisations (EPRO).

The competition will determine its overall winner on February 22, 2017. EPRO recognizes innovation and sustainability in products and designs made from recycled plastics in the United Kingdom and Europe. The selected projects in the Product category include proposals from companies in the United Kingdom, Germany, and Spain. The Design category includes projects from Spain and Ireland.

Particularly relevant, Peter Sundt, Secretary General of EPRO, stated that the EPRO Award for the Best Recycled Plastic Product is not only an inspiration for the participants. In this competition, it is also important for society as a whole.

Roofeco Tiles was selected in the Product category. It consists of a modular roofing system made from recycled plastic. Its contribution to the circular economy is essential. It uses recycled raw materials to give back to society a useful product that surpasses conventional tiles in quality.
